Capital Art founder Karabo Morule recently sat down with Stanford eCorner podcast host and adjunct lecturer Vimbayi Kajese to discuss the African art market, specifically how injustice has shaped the industry.

She also talks about the opportunities it presents for cultural preservation and celebrates marginalized artists in this recent episode of “Entrepreneurial Thought.”

Her company is the first art collection management service that is focused on collectors of modern and contemporary African art. Through her company’s technology, she is creating a more inclusive African art ecosystem by encouraging people of many income levels to view themselves as collectors.

Moreover, she is also a non-executive director at TymeBank, South Africa’s first bank to have its core banking system in the cloud.
