Chantal Carter has been chosen to receive the 2024 Naseem Somani Memorial Leadership Excellence Award.

The founder of Love & Nudes has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry as a wardrobe stylist, image consultant, and magazine style director. As a marketing professor and member of Centennial College’s Fashion Business and Management Program Advisory Committee since 2020, she works with the college to align with industry trends.

The award is named in honour of the memory of Somani, former CEO of Dynacare. She was an essential business community member and a corporate Canada giant. She was also a leader known for her competitive and collaborative spirit.

She will be recognized by Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, former MP Celina Ceasar-Chavannes, and the Brampton Board of Trade on March 6 at inspiHER in celebration of International Women’s Day.
