Sparkee, a Black-woman-owned technology company based in Miami, has announced the launch of a mobile charging puck and base device that enables users to charge three devices simultaneously using NFC and USB-C charging ports.

The charging device is now available for preorder, more than a month after consumers got to experience it at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, according to a statement.

“Our world is becoming more reliant on our tech devices, and it's time to start innovating the charging experience,” Sparkee founder and creator Kyla Wilkinson said in a statement. “I searched unsuccessfully for an aesthetically pleasing product that would charge my mobile devices without taking up too much space, so I decided to create one myself — because consumers shouldn't have to choose between a creative design and better battery life.”

The product is the first of its kind for wireless charging, the founder added. It includes a mag-safe battery pack that magnetically attaches to the back of a phone to charge it. It also has a USB-C port for traditional cord charging so that users can charge multiple devices, a statement reads.

Available on iOS and Android, it works with Apple phones and has an additional disc for Android phones. It costs $69 on Kickstarter and will bump to $99 in retail stores.
