ACBN Legacy Symposium kicks off at Sheridan College Mississauga

The fourth annual ACBN Legacy Symposium is kicking off today (Feb. 24) and tomorrow at Sheridan College Mississauga at the Hazel McCallion campus. Tickets are also available virtually.

The event will bring Black community leaders and entrepreneurs together through a series of discovery sessions led by the Afro Caribbean Business Network (ACBN), Sheridan’s Pilon School of Business and EDGE Entrepreneurship Hub. It is sponsored by Alterna Savings.

Keynote speakers include Dr. George C. Fraser, CEO and founder of FraserNet Inc. and president of FraserNation LLC, and Bryan Duarte, co-founder and managing partner at BlackTech Capital and founder and CEO of Enliten.

Panellists will discuss important topics like obtaining finance, attracting the right customers, bringing key people onto your team, and optimizing your business processes.

Providing networking opportunities and strategies to build sustainable businesses, the two-day event will wrap up on Saturday, Feb 25, at 3:00 p.m.
